TAFE Illawarra has been working extensively with the Shoalhaven City Council over a number of years.

In 2007, TAFE Illawarra was successful in negotiating an additional 12 month training agreement with Shoalhaven City Council to provide a continuation of the successful AussieHost "Customer Service Champion" project that commenced in 2005.

This program was designed to assist Council to build personal, professional and community pride and to inspire a greater commitment in providing consistently higher levels of quality customer service to both internal and external customers.
