Veolia Mulwaree Trust Scholarship

APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2014 VEOLIA MULWAREE TRUST SCHOLARSHIPS HAVE CLOSED FOR 2014.

The Veolia Mulwaree Trust distributes funds for charitable purposes and worthwhile community projects to benefit communities within or surrounding the former Mulwaree Shire Council area.

The Trust’s funding is provided by Veolia Environmental Services which operates the Woodlawn Bioreactor near Tarago in Southern NSW.

In 2014 the Trust would generously like to support four (4) students from TAFE NSW – Illawarra Institute who completed a VET course or Higher School Certificate (HSC) in, or reside in, any one of the seven Local Government Areas (LGA) it services, including the Goulburn Mulwaree Council, Palerang Council, Shoalhaven City Council, Oberon Council, Wingecarribee Shire Council, Upper Lachlan Shire Council, and Wollondilly Shire Council.

Am I eligible?

To be eligible for a Veolia Mulwaree Trust – Illawarra Institute Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Have been awarded a VET qualification or HSC in, or reside in, any of the LGAs listed above in, or before, 2013.
  • Be enrolled in a course scheduled for delivery over a 1-2 year period at Certificate III or above at TAFE NSW – Illawarra Institute in 2014.
  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Complete this application form and provide a 300-500 word statement outlining:
    • Their interest in the scholarship, specifically making mention of undertaking work experience, work placement, volunteer work or paid work in the region covered by the Veolia Mulwaree Trust;
    • How the scholarship will assist in achieving their academic or career ambitions
