Certificate II Automotive Body Repair and Finish

This course is for panel beating trainees or people that have entered into a relevant training agreement. You will learn how to weld light gauge motor vehicle body panels and underframe structures. You will also learn how to repair panel damage, replace bolt-on panels, apply rust and sound deadening materials, remove and replace protector mouldings, transfers and decals and prepare vehicles for customer use.

This course is for people who wish to develop the skills to be able to train and assess in the Australian vocational education and training (VET) sector. Achievement of this qualification satisfies the requirements of the Australian Quality Training Framework. You will learn how to plan, organise and deliver training; plan and implement assessment activities; and how to design training programs that meet client needs.

This course is for people working in the hairdressing industry who want to develop advanced specialist vocational skills or beauty skills or supervisory/ management skills. This course will provide you with advanced skills to build, maintain and monitor a diverse sophisticated client base. The skills gained in cutting, colouring, styling and chemical work build on the skills of CIII in hairdressing  and will provide you with high level individual creative design and problem solving skills to help you service your clients. The salon management and staff training units provide the underpinning knowledge and skills to establish and or manage a salon and staff.

This qualification is for people who want to work as child-care workers/child care assistants in centre-based and family day care. You will learn how to use organisation policies, procedures and individual children's profiles to plan activities and provide care to children, facilitating their leisure and play and enabling them to achieve their developmental outcomes.

This course will provide training for candidates who want to upgrade their competence in OH&S, or want to become WorkCover trainers/assessors or safety officers, or supervisors with significant OH&S responsibilities. This qualification would suit an OH&S officer in a full-time dedicated role who works under the supervision of an OH&S coordinator or OH&S manager.
