Illawarra Institute Advisory Council
Terms of Reference
- Provide advice and information to the Institute Director on industry and community trends and needs as related to the provision of vocational education and training.
- Support the Institute Director in promoting TAFE.
- Participate, as considered appropriate, in industry and community consultations on the Institute Profile.
- Comment upon and endorse the Institute Profile and Management Plan.
- Monitor the Institute's performance in relevant areas.
- Assist in the process of public reporting on the Institute's performance and achievements against strategies in the Management Plan.
- Participate in meetings of the Institute's executive committees as determined periodically in agreement and consultation with the Institute Director.
- Participate in student Discipline Appeals through Review Committees as per the Regulation.
