Wollongong

Wollongong Campus is the Institute's largest campus. All faculties have full representation at this campus, which is located adjacent to the University of Wollongong's main campus. The University and the Institute have established firm articulation arrangements permitting students to easily transfer to University programs. The Institute's Information Services Unit and innovative Teaching and Learning Resources Unit are located at this campus. Child care is also available for children aged between 0 - 5 years.

Child Care

Child care is available for children aged 0 - 5 years. Open 8.00am - 5.00pm. Limited places are available. Enquire at the Administration desk.

Food

Cafeteria and vending machines are available for drinks, sweets, snacks and coffee.

Recreation

Recreation Centre on campus. Please enquire at the Centre.

Car Parking Facilities

Daily parking fees are charged. Students with a Wollongong TAFE parking sticker on their car will pay $1.00 a visit. People without a sticker will be charged $3.00 a visit. These charges may be increased in the new year.

Motor Vehicle Infringement

Please note a $10.00 parking infringement will be given for parking on lawns and garden areas, reserved and restricted areas, loading zones and crossings. An infringement is also given to students who park their cars in a way that causes an obstruction or take a parking spot allocated for disabled people.

Computers for Student Use

Computers are located in the Library (Block A) and must be booked at the Information Commons Desk (ground floor library). Bookings are essential.
