What were you doing before you enrolled at TAFE?
I had just moved to Australia from China before I enrolled at TAFE.

Why did you enrol at TAFE?
I enrolled at TAFE to open up doors for my future career, and I learnt that they also had the course that I wanted to do.

What made you decide to train for the career you have chosen? I have always been interested in pursuing a career in childcare and by enrolling in TAFE, I was able to increase my chances of getting a job in my chosen industry.

Do you think your training at TAFE will be a major factor in securing a successful career in your industry, or help you move on to further study/training? How?
Yes I do - the course provides me with the necessary skills, knowledge and qualifications required for a career in Children's Services.

What is the most important thing that you have learnt from your training at TAFE? The importance of procedures and standards, as well as professional responsibilities and team work.

What did you enjoy most about your training at TAFE? The learning environment, hands-on experiences, the teacher's support and the friendships I made with classmates.

What is your advice to others thinking about their career and future education? TAFE can definitely provide you with the best quality teaching and great opportunities to gain recognised qualifications.
