The Illawarra Institute is located south of Sydney and spans from Wollongong to Bega on the coast and hinterland, and from Moss Vale to Cooma on the Southern Highlands. It has strong community and industry partnerships. The Institute is a Registered Training Organisation and has also achieved ISO 9001:2000 Certification.
Illawarra Institute is a leader in vocational education and training employing teaching, management, administrative, and support staff across its 14 campuses. Training opportunities are provided for almost 40,000 students annually.
The Institute's professional teaching staff provide a range of learning opportunities to assist students, trainees and apprentices to learn the necessary skills and qualifications required to gain employment in their chosen career. Our management, administration, and support staff provide essential support and leadership to teaching units.
