Vocational Rehabilitation Services

Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS) assist job seekers who have an injury, disability or health condition, to work independently in the workforce by combining vocational rehabilitation with employment assistance.

  • assessment of functional and physical work capacity
  • vocational assessment and counselling to determine suitable job options
  • job preparation assistance
  • supervised on-the-job training and/or a short vocational course
  • fitness and work conditioning programs
  • confidence building/self esteem groups or individual sessions
  • assessment of workplace suitability
  • employer incentives.
