Wage Subsidy Scheme
The Wage Subsidy Scheme assists employers to employ people who are clients of the Disability Employment Network and Vocational Rehabilitation Services.
The scheme aims to increase the competitiveness of people with disability in gaining employment through subsidised employment placements.
The scheme offers financial assistance through wage subsidies to employers who employ eligible employees with disability. The wage subsidies are paid to employers by Disability Employment Network members and Vocational Rehabilitation Service providers. Wage subsidy funding may only be used for wage subsidies (including incidentals) and the administration of the wage subsidy.
