Studying in Australia is easier if you have good reading and writing skills in English. That's why we offer a range of nationally-accredited English language certificate courses at our English Language Centres. Our expert teachers offer high quality English courses to help you get the most out of your studies. New classes start every 5 weeks.

TAFE NSW English language programs are available to suit all levels of students from beginners to the more advanced and will help develop your skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening and grammar. Our General English Programs includes:

• General English Certificate course from beginner to intermediate level (5-25 weeks) to develop basic oral and written skills in English.
• Certificate III in English for Further Study (5-20 weeks) for intermediate learners to prepare students for vocational courses at TAFE or university studies. Depending on visa restrictions, some students will also need to sit for an IELTS test.
• Advanced English (5-10 weeks) available at some centres only for upper intermediate to advanced learners to develop high-level study skills and to prepare students for the IELTS test, Interpreting diploma, tertiary study or employment with English speakers.

TAFE NSW English Language and Vocational Course Package

Students who apply for a packaged English language and TAFE mainstream course only apply for one visa. The General English language fee for this package is A$290 per week. Applications are made directly with the International Students Centre (ISC).

Offer is for General English programs only and excludes English for High School Preparation.
