Multicultural Education Services

The Multicultural Education Unit can provide assistance to NESB (non English speaking background) people with:

• interpreters under certain circumstances for trade testing and also for counselling
• providing advice on the recognition of overseas qualifications
• referring students to appropriate English language programs
• providing appropriate language course information officers at enrolment time providing tutorial support for students
• the unit also arranges on arrival English language programs
