Student Association (ITSA)

The Student Association is an organisation which provides a wide range of services, facilities and activities for its members who consist of students and staff from the Illawarra Institute. Membership is voluntary and costs $10.00 per year [this may change year to year]. The Association is managed by an elected Board of Directors and members are invited to stand for election, either to the Board of Directors or an Association Committee. Some of the services, facilities and activities offered by the Association include:

  • Recreation Centre [Wollongong Campus] - squash courts, fitness centre, sporting clubs, sporting activities, sporting goods shops
  • Bega Campus - cafeteria and shop
  • Dapto Campus - cafeteria and shop
  • Goulburn Campus - cafeteria, shop and television
  • Shellharbour Campus - cafeteria, shop and television
  • Moruya Campus - cafeteria, shop
  • Moss Vale Campus - cafeteria, shop
  • Nowra Campus - cafeteria, shop
  • Wollongong Campus - bookshop, cafeteria, diner, Coffee Corner, Resource Centre, television area, table tennis and Function Centre
  • Wollongong West Campus - cafeteria and shop
  • Yallah Campus - cafeteria, shop

At other Campuses, members may be able to take advantage of discounts from local stores and travel outlets.
