How do I use eResources?
- Select a relevant database below OR choose a Subject Guide and click on the Databases tab on that guide.
- Log in using either your DEC TAFE username and password or a local password.
- Enter your search terms
- Use the Help function within each database, ask your local library staff for advice or consult the user guides and tutorials on this page.
- Set up an alert for new content in selected databases - use the guides below.
What is a local password?
- Local passwords are required for local campus or Illawarra only eResource subscriptions. Look for titles marked with an asterisk *.
- Please contact your library for more information or use the Passwords request form.
- Staff can also obtain local passwords from the staff intranet.
- OTEN students - please contact your local library for passwords to the databases marked ^.
