Saver Plus program

Did you know that you may be eligible to receive support to assist with your TAFE, traineeship or apprenticeship costs?

If eligible, you could receive up to $500 through the Saver Plus program.

 

Overview

The Saver Plus program is offered to the Illawarra from Helensburgh to Ulladulla and the Southern Highlands, as well as in Queanbeyan.

 

What are the benefits?

The program matches your savings, dollar for dollar, up to $500 to assist with costs such as fees, tutors, furniture for studying, computers, text book and trade tools.

 

Am I eligible?

To be eligible you must answer 'yes' to the following four questions:

  • would you like $500 to spend on costs such as fees, tutors, furniture for studying, computers, text book and trade tools?
  • do you have a health care card?
  • do you have some regular work?
  • are you 18 years or over?

Saver Plus is an initiative of Brotherhood of St Laurence and ANZ, delivered in partnership with Berry Street, The Benevolent Society and other local community agencies.  The program is funded by ANZ and the Australian Government Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs, with ANZ providing matched savings for participants.
